    General terms:
    The myTFGrewards programme is being run and managed by Foschini Retail Group (Pty) Ltd ("TFG").
    TFG, its affiliates, organisers, promoters, partners and agencies are not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, accident, or death that may arise from inclusion or participation in myTFGrewards.
    TFG reserves the right to make changes to myTFGrewards in our sole discretion.
    These terms and conditions may be updated from time to time. Please visit for the latest terms and conditions. You will be bound by any updated terms and conditions.
    TFG reserves the right to terminate the myTFGrewards programme at any time. In such event, we will provide notice to you.
    myTFGrewards may only be used in accordance with these terms and conditions.
    To participate in the myTFGrewards programme and become a member, register at the till point of any TFG store or online. You will be required to provide us with certain personal information at the time of your application.
    Joining is free, and no annual membership fee is required to be paid.
    TFG Account and TFG Big Buy customers are automatically members of myTFGrewards.
    You must be 18 years or older and permanently reside in South Africa.
    TFG employees are eligible to take advantage of specific discount rewards as set out in clause 7.1 (a) below in the event that the discount offered is greater than their TFG Staff Account discount.

    myTFGrewards card
    You will be issued with either a digital or a plastic myTFGrewards card, which remains the property of TFG. TFG reserves the right to issue, re-issue, decline and withdraw the myTFGrewards card at any time in their sole discretion.
    Your myTFGrewards card is not transferrable.
    In the event that you are a TFG Account or TFG Big Buy customer, your TFG Account card or TFG Big Buy card will be used.
    If your card has been lost or stolen, it is your responsibility to contact TFG Customer Services and request that your card be blocked. A replacement may be issued on request and any vouchers on the lost/stolen card will be transferred to the replacement card.

    Personal information:
    "Personal information / PI" means personal information as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA") and "Process/ Processing" has the same meaning assigned thereto in POPIA.

    How we may process your PI:
    For as long as you have a myTFGrewards membership, you expressly agree that;
    we may collect and retain your PI for the purposes of opening and maintaining your myTFGrewards membership and establishing and verifying your identity, and to enable us, and any of our authorised representatives to fulfill our obligations in relation to myTFGrewards;
    you will give us honest, accurate and up-to-date PI and maintain and update such information where necessary;
    we may use your PI to conduct a credit bureau check for the potential purpose of offering you a TFG Account or a TFG Big Buy, if you do not already have one;
    we may maintain your PI for as long as we need to by law in order to maintain your myTFGrewards membership;
    you have the right to access your PI held by us, during office hours within a reasonable time after we have received such a written request for access (see clause 2.6 for contact details);
    you have the right to request us to correct or delete your PI that is inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, out of date, incomplete, misleading or obtained unlawfully;
    you have the right to object to the processing of your PI at any time in which event we will no longer be able to manage your myTFGrewards membership, and you will no longer be registered with myTFGrewards.
    You expressly consent that we may share your PI with:
    our service providers, agents and sub-contractors that have been contracted by us; and
    third parties for the express purpose of them marketing their services and products to you, when you have consented thereto as per clause 6.1 below.
    You acknowledge and expressly consent that we may process your PI for purposes of:
    processing your purchasing information and online browsing behaviour (where you have consented to tracking on our websites, mobile websites and apps) for: market and product analysis; customer analysis; monitoring your buying patterns, and using credit bureau data to enrich your profile to enable us to improve our personalised marketing offers to you; generating statistical and research reports for TFG use. Should we produce such research or statistical reports for external use, these reports will not contain any PI that identifies you;
    interacting with you via various means including but not limited to: telephonic, in writing, email, SMS, Social Media and WhatsApp.
    If you have a concern or complaint relating to the processing of your PI, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator on 010 023 5200.
    Direct Marketing
    If you opt-in at time of opening your TFG Account, TFG Big Buy, when becoming a member of myTFGrewards, or any later stage, to receive direct marketing from us or our business partners, we will send you marketing information and promotional offers as per clause 6.2 below ("the Marketing Services") from all of our brands across all of our marketing channels, which include: email, SMS/ MMS, post and telemarketing ("the Channels"). New channels may be added from time to time. When you opt-out of marketing from a particular Channel, you will be opted-out of the Channel for that brand that was communicating to you when you opted out. In order to opt-out of all Marketing Services (for all brands and channels), please contact Customer Services as per clause 2.6 above. It could take up to 48 (forty eight) hours for your updated election to take effect.
    The following brands, products and services are part of TFG and could market to you:
    all of TFG's retail brands;
    myTFGworld, myTFGmedia, Jet Club, myTFGmoney, TFG insurance and selected data / airtime offerings;
    Additional brands, products and services and other myTFGrewards partners may be added from time to time.
    You may also receive marketing from our business partners if you agreed to this.
    We may market any of the Marketing Services to you on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays and outside of prescribed times as set out in the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA"). We will not do this if you opt-out.
    Each time we send you Marketing Services via the Channels, we will give you the option to opt-out of receiving further Marketing Services via that Channel from that brand.
    Please ensure your contact details are kept up to date to ensure you receive Marketing Services, as we will not be held responsible if you do not receive personalised offers and information on limited time deals in the event that your contact details have changed.
    myTFGrewards benefits:
    myTFGrewards members receive the following benefits which are offered across all TFG brands when they swipe their myTFGrewards, TFG Account or TFG Big Buy card:
    exclusive access to myTFGrewards offers providing instant savings on selected goods in-store and/or online when you swipe or link your myTFGrewards card to your online shopping profile;
    personalised Vouchers;
    entry to exclusive competition offers.
    Vouchers will be issued to selected customers in our sole discretion, indicating what reward is available.
    A Voucher may only be used once.
    Only one Voucher may be redeemed per purchase. You may not accumulate Vouchers or use multiple Vouchers for one purchase.
    All online Vouchers have a minimum spend. If not expressly indicated, the minimum spend is the value of the Voucher
    Vouchers will either be:
    directly loaded on your card; and/or
    sent to you by SMS or email; and/or
    printed on your till slip when you purchase in-store;
    redeemable either in store or online or both, and across all or selected TFG brands. This will be indicated on the Voucher.
    You may not redeem a Voucher when purchasing the below items (unless specifically indicated):
    sale, marked down or discounted items;
    airtime, cellular or navigational items;
    gift cards or services.
    The expiry date on a Voucher will not be extended under any circumstances.
    A Voucher is not refundable if you return the product that was purchased with the Voucher.
    We do not under any circumstances guarantee what the Voucher reward will be and under no circumstances may you request a different reward or obtain a second reward at the same time.
    You will not be able to redeem a Voucher in the unlikely event that a store is off-line, but will be able to redeem your Voucher the next time that you shop.


    Promotional Competition Rules for the myTFGrewards Swipe & Win Competition
    This promotional competition is organised by Foschini Retail Group (Pty) Ltd (registration number 1988/007302/07) a subsidiary of The Foschini Group Limited ("TFG").
    In these rules, "Promoter" means a person who directly or indirectly promotes, sponsors, organisers or conducts the promotional competition, or for whose benefit the promotional competition is promoted, sponsored, organised or conducted, which includes TFG. No director, member, partner, employee, agent of, or consultant to the Promoter or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter, their advertising agencies, or their spouses, life partners, parents, children, brothers, sisters, business partners or associates, may enter this promotional competition. This also applies to a person who is a supplier of goods or services in connection with this promotional competition.
    All participants must be myTFGrewards customers or TFG Account customers.
    Should the law or any authority terminate this promotional competition, no notice of termination shall be required. In such event, all participants waive any rights and acknowledge that they shall have no claim, of any nature whatsoever against TFG, its directors, agents or employees as a result of the termination. Further, TFG reserves the right to vary, postpone, suspend or cancel the competition and any prizes which have not yet been drawn, or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time and for any reason whatsoever that TFG deems is reasonable at the time.
    Entry into the competition is automatic for all myTFGrewards customers that swipe their myTFGrewards or TFG Account cards in store, or who purchase online using their linked myTFGrewards or TFG account card.
    Multiple entries are allowed for the prizes, 1 transaction = 1 entry.
    Prize winners will be issued with a unique voucher redemption code via SMS to the number that they have provided on their TFG Account or myTFGrewards customer profile; directly after a successful transaction.
    Prize winners will need to log in with their unique code on the Swipe & Win prize redemption website ( ) within 60 days of receipt of the SMS.
    There will be 249 daily winners across all TFG brands, in South Africa only. Each winner receives a prize based on the Swipe & Win competition that they were automatically entered into. In the event that a prize cannot be supplied a gift card or TFG voucher to the value of the prize will be provided. (*see prize allocation table below)
    By entering the competition you agree and understand that you may win a prize and that there is no guarantee that you will win a prize.

    Winners will be required to comply with all CPA regulations; failure to do so will result in the prize being forfeited.
    Prizes are not transferable, may not be deferred, exchanged for cash, used towards the payment of TFG accounts or otherwise.
    If any taxes, levies, duties or any charges whatsoever are levied on a prize by any competent authority, the winner will be liable for these and the prize value will not be increased to compensate for such charges.
    This competition will commence on 1 May 2021 - 31 March 2022.
    All prizes have been randomly drawn by the myTFGrewards system; the winners are final and there will be no correspondence.
    By accepting a prize or by entering this competition, you hereby indemnify TFG, its directors, agents, employees and the promoters / sponsors against any damages of any nature whatsoever that anyone may suffer as a result of the prize/s and/or this competition, including consequential damages and economic loss.
    Failure to comply with these rules or the terms of acceptance of a prize by a winner will be deemed to be a rejection of the prize and the winner will then be disqualified from receiving the prize.
